Use these devices to create a wired ethernet network over your existing cable TV coax wiring. Achieve a fast, reliable Ethernet connection between router and any device with an Ethernet port. Bonded MoCA 2.0 technology outperforms wireless for speed, latency, reliability, and security. This is an ideal way to deliver network connectivity to those locations in your home where WiFi signal is weak or non-existent. No need to run new ethernet cables throughout the home. These adapters have a coaxial input and output port so you can easily connect one adapter into the coaxial cable feed for your internet provider’s modem/router and use an RG6 jumper cable to feed the modem. Then connect an ethernet cable between the adapter and the modem/router. The second adapter is then connected to any other cable TV outlet in the home and the ethernet port supplies a wired connection to your PC, game console or router. Note: Newer model adapters lack an output port which requires use of a coax cable splitter to feed the modem (more work, more $).
